2023 21 days of prayer: day 18

Memorizing Scripture is a discipline foreign to our generation. Consider that small children in a Jewish context memorized the first 5 books of the Old Testament! Why? So that it would be hidden in their hearts (Psalm 119:11). We have a living God with a living word (Hebrews 4:12), and the Holy Spirit guides us as He calls it to mind.
